Assisted Stretching
in Dubai
at Your Door
Tight hips after long desk days? Hamstrings that stop you halfway to your toes? A therapist stretches you one-on-one at home, taking each muscle further than you can safely go on your own.
Stretched, Not Taught
This isn't a class. Your therapist moves your body for you, so you reach ranges you can't hold on your own.
We Come to You
Delivered to your home, hotel, or villa across Dubai, on a professional treatment table we bring and set up.
Assessed Before We Stretch
Every session starts with a short mobility check, so depth and pressure match your body on the day.

Guided
Stretching, Done for You
Assisted stretching is a one-on-one session in which a trained therapist moves your body through targeted stretches while you relax. Because someone else controls the angle, depth, and hold, your muscles can release further than they do when you stretch alone, so you gain range of motion with less strain.
Most of us know we should stretch. Few of us do it well. Solo stretching tends to stop the moment it becomes uncomfortable, skips the muscles we can't reach, and rarely holds long enough to make a difference, especially after a day at a desk, behind the wheel, or on a long flight.
Our sessions combine PNF (contract–relax) stretching, slow passive holds, and gentle joint mobility. You stay fully clothed in comfortable activewear, no oils are used, and you set the intensity throughout. The aim is simple: to leave you moving more easily than when we arrived.
What It Changes
Flexibility improves with stretching that is consistent and done well. Here is what a therapist-guided approach can help with.
Greater Range of Motion
PNF is one of the most widely studied stretching methods for improving flexibility. A therapist can take each stretch safely past the point where you would stop on your own.
Tight Hips & Hamstrings
Hours of sitting shorten the hip flexors and hamstrings. Releasing them can ease the pull on your pelvis that many people feel as lower-back tightness.
Neck & Shoulder Stiffness
Screens round the shoulders and tighten the neck. Opening the chest and upper back makes it easier to sit and stand tall without forcing it.
Easier Everyday Movement
Reaching an overhead shelf, turning to reverse the car, bending to tie your shoes. Daily movement feels lighter as stiff areas loosen.
Support for Your Training
For runners, golfers, padel players, and gym regulars, we target the tight spots that limit your stride, swing, or squat depth.
A Calmer Nervous System
Slow, breath-paced holds help the body shift out of "go" mode. Many people find an evening session a natural way to unwind before sleep.
Left–Right Balance
Most bodies are tighter on one side. Your therapist works each side to its own limit, helping to even out imbalances you may not have noticed.
Progress That Builds
Your therapist notes your tight areas and how they respond, so each session picks up where the last one ended instead of starting over.
The Methods
Every assisted stretching session at Maison Privée Arabia is built around your body on the day. Your therapist blends the techniques below into one flowing sequence, focused on the areas you want to free up.
You stay in control throughout. Nothing is forced: you set the limit, and your therapist works just inside it.
Book This TreatmentMobility Check
FoundationWe start by checking how your hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and spine move, and asking where you feel tight or restricted. This shapes the whole session and gives you a baseline to measure progress against.
PNF Stretching (Contract–Relax)
SignatureYour therapist takes a muscle into a comfortable stretch. You gently push against their hands for a few seconds, then relax. That brief contraction helps the muscle let go, so the next stretch reaches a little further.
Passive Static Holds
ReleaseLonger, still holds of around 30 seconds while you breathe slowly. Ideal for chronically tight areas such as the hamstrings, calves, and chest.
Gentle Joint Mobilisation
MobilitySlow, controlled circles and light traction through the hips and shoulders help each joint move through its full, comfortable range.
Rotational & Spinal Stretches
SpineGuided twists and side-bends release the mid and lower back, the areas that stiffen fastest with long hours of sitting or driving.
Breath-Paced Close
ClosingThe session finishes with slow neck and shoulder stretches paced to your breathing, leaving you relaxed and loose rather than drowsy.

Questions & Answers
Everything you need to know before booking assisted stretching in Dubai.
What is assisted stretching?
+Assisted stretching is a one-on-one treatment in which a therapist stretches your body for you while you relax. Using techniques such as PNF (contract–relax) and passive holds, they take each muscle further than you could safely go alone. The goal is better flexibility, easier movement, and less day-to-day stiffness.
How is assisted stretching different from Thai massage?
+Both involve being moved through stretches while fully clothed, but the focus is different. Thai massage is a traditional therapy that combines stretching with rhythmic acupressure along the body's energy lines for a full-body reset. Assisted stretching focuses purely on flexibility and mobility: it starts with a movement check, uses PNF stretching, and targets the specific areas you want to loosen. Choose Thai massage for overall relaxation and tension relief; choose assisted stretching if your main goal is to move better.
Does assisted stretching hurt?
+No. You will feel a strong but comfortable stretch, never sharp pain. You set the limit and can ask your therapist to ease off at any moment. The techniques work best when you stay relaxed, because a forced stretch makes a muscle tighten rather than release.
I'm not flexible at all. Is assisted stretching for me?
+Yes. Assisted stretching is not about how far you can already bend. Your therapist works within your current range and builds from there, which is why people who feel stiff often have the most room to improve.
How often should I book assisted stretching?
+Flexibility builds with consistency. For noticeable change, once a week for four to six weeks works well, followed by a session every two to four weeks to maintain it. If you are training for an event or dealing with persistent tightness, your therapist may suggest more frequent sessions at the start.
Can assisted stretching help with back stiffness from sitting?
+It can help with the tightness behind much everyday back discomfort. Long hours of sitting tighten the hip flexors, hamstrings, and glutes, which pull on the pelvis and lower back; releasing these areas often eases that feeling. Assisted stretching is not a treatment for injury, sudden pain, or pain that travels down the leg. If any of those apply to you, please see a doctor or physiotherapist first.
What should I wear, and how do I prepare?
+Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing such as activewear or loose cotton, and avoid a heavy meal in the two hours before your session. Your therapist brings a professional treatment table, so you only need a clear area of roughly 2 by 3 metres. Afterwards, drink water and keep the rest of the day gentle if you can.
